I have been a Christian since I was a young girl. For me, God and my belief in God, is what the rest of my life is built upon.  My faith impacts my everyday; it is the lens through which I see life. I believe that Jesus Christ is God, that He loves every single person on earth and continually reaches out to mankind to show us His love, compasison, and grace.  His intention is relationship, and I am daily learning how to walk in relationship with Him.  Because of Jesus Christ, I get to live a new life where I find God to be my sustainer, healer, father, and savior.  The invitation to have new life is for all people.

My faith and beliefs may not be in agreement with everyone who reads these poems, and that is okay.  My perspective is that we are all on our own journey of finding what we do, and do not, believe.  In that process of discovery, we will find we have similarities, as well as differences, with the opinions and beliefs of others.

With that being said, I do not know who will read this post, but there is no judgment from my end towards you. Over the years, writing poetry has been a way for me to creativly express the journey of faith I am on, and I hope it encourages you to do the same!
